1:1 NILD Educational Therapy

Educational Therapy demonstrates how to think and learn independently and confidently. Individualized lesson plans are created using our five core techniques: Rhythmic Writing, Gray Matter, Dictation & Copy, Buzzer, and Math Block.

Rhythmic Writing

This intervention causes the student to integrate motor, visual, and auditory cues while stimulating the brain through crossing their midline. This technique improves note taking, language processing, motor skills, spacing, directionality, and cursive writing.

My daughter has been working with Mrs. Baxter through NILD therapy for three years, and I’ve seen incredible growth. She truly enjoys their sessions. Mrs. Baxter’s patience and encouragement have helped her gain confidence, not only in school but in life. Using NILD strategies, she has learned how to focus, retain information, and apply it, especially in math and writing. Her scores in both subjects have improved significantly. I am so thankful for Mrs. Baxter’s support, faith, and the positive impact she has had on my daughter.

Working with Mrs Baxter has been incredibly beneficial for Lucy not only in assisting with her learning differences and academics but also boosting her confidence and belief in her own capabilities. It's been remarkable to see the changes from the beginning of the school year to the end, particularly in her writing and vocabulary. We knew cursive writing would be a challenge and with Mrs Baxter's guidance, patience and persistence, Lucy mastered cursive writing. She is also able to confidently correct mistakes and voice her own concerns when she does not fully understand the tasks at hand, a huge milestone for her. Lucy loves her one-on-one time with Mrs. Baxter.
